From the Connecting with Nature, Connecting with Me- Grounding 01 Painting

From my journal: Lately, I’ve been trying to spend less time on social media and more time being in nature. The decision to take much needed social media breaks has been very helpful for my mental health. By doing this, I find that I’m so much more present in what I’m doing. Doing the most simple things such as: •Meditating outside. •Burying my feet into the sand while at the beach. •Placing my hands into the ocean waters as the waves flow in and out. •Feeling the sun shine onto my skin. •Listening to the birds while I refill the bird feeders. Or watching them while sitting in the garden, and paying attention to how they interact with each other. •Feeling the soil in between my fingers as I repot my plants. —— All of these things have helped me to keep myself grounded. All of this has also influenced some of my work and has helped to inspire this series of paintings. 1 out of 3 paintings in series. This painting is signed by the artist.
