About me: My Name is Javier Gil and I was born in Zaragoza in 1987, I am a young spanish Civil Engineer who paint mainly landscapes and some architectural views among other themes with passion, I try to use the properly style for each view using the best materials in the market to have emotional and kind effects highlighting the effects of light and inspirational skies. From the choice of the view, the place, the season of the year, to the choice of materials, the drawing, the preparatory staining and the final painting is a carefully selective process where I take care of every detail and to give free rein to my imagination. I like to use a rich variety of materials such as oil on canvas, watercolor or pastel painting, because I think that the richness of themes as well as styles and materials is the great wealth of a good artist and his greater intellectual and pictorial breadth. It should also be noted that I take my work as that of a craftsman from another time where the only thing that matters is to create an original and creative work of high artistic value so that its beauty endures over time. All the pictorial works are versioned in photographs taken by me or by other international photographers. I hope you enjoy my art, my world, my visions and my passions as I do. Many thanks
