About The Artwork

I've been living on and off in Gothenburg since 1999. I love the atmosphere of a big industrial port. This poster-painting is done in a combination of oil and cold wax and encaustic (melted beeswax) because I wanted a heavy impasto texture, as the contrast between strict graphic forms and organic, rough paint is where the fun begins for me.
