For Fabrice Espiard, each painting is an ode to life, a tribute to all the experiences that have shaped his path. His work is an invitation to observation and questioning, an incentive to discover a world of colors and emotions, a world in which art is the ultimate means of expression. His approach consists of deconstructing the illusions of reality, going beyond appearances, to reveal the illusions of our interpretation. To do this, he creates works that offer an organized metaphorical superposition of strata, colors, shapes and materials like so many possible versions of a ready-made scenario. Inspiration : His work is reminiscent of that of L'Atlas, both through the work of layer upon layer and masking, revealing different worlds through superposition and through the techniques of acrylic and aerosol paints. His approach to highlighting details that taken as a whole shows a work that becomes different upon closer observation. His approach is also freely inspired by “tachism” with artists like Pollock or Riopelle and Mondrian in the recurrence of the use of primary colors. Although not having followed the classic academic path, Fabrice Espiard knew how to cultivate his talent and perfect his technique over time. On each canvas, the compositions based on acrylic, aerosols and pure pigments applied in successive layers, reveal the strata, like so many stories being told. In addition to a harmony of worked colors, there is a luminosity designed to illuminate the main points of the canvas. In front of the work, the spectator experiences a transport, dictated by the evolution of his interpretation, as his observation becomes more attentive.
