FIRST MAN TO FLY: HEZARFEN AHMET CELEBI Hezarfen Ahmed Çelebi is the first Turkish scholar who managed to fly in the world. 17. It is known that the collection was known as Hezarfen among the people, probably from the reigns of 1623-1640 and the time of Sultan Murad 4, because of its flying eyes and width. He carried out the primitive form of aircraft by taking the example of another Turkish example, Hezârfen İsmail Cevheri, composed of various Ahmed Çelebis, at home.
