ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Acrylic and oil on canvas mounted on board. The Grand Canyon covered with first snow of the season. Sun rays were piercing through the passing clouds. This paining is the result of numerous photographs I have taken during 30-40 minutes while observing and digesting in my mind the color changes, the shadows and light shapes floating on the rock formations.
