About The Artwork

Interaction is inevitable, it is an essential part of life… When two galaxies meet, their gravitational forces interact and start pulling them together. The larger galaxy “eats up” the smaller one. The result of this collision is the birth of a bigger and stronger galaxy. In the newborn galaxy, stars and planets are created. The miracle of life is the reincarnation. Scientists say that our galaxy (Milky Way) is going to collide with Andromeda (our closest galaxy) and that galactic cannibalism is inevitable. Fortunately for us, we still have billions of years ahead of this moment. Now we may observe this as a horrible future that is about to come, death and destruction to everything we know! In the same way, we look at wildfires, overfishing the oceans, or wars among people. If we take a look at the human body we will find that microorganisms are constantly killing each other, and if that was not so - our bodies wouldn’t be healthy. What we consider chaos from one point of view, from another standpoint is perfect harmony. In the same way, galactic cannibalism may seem like chaos or harmony - it depends on your viewpoint. Which point of view will you have?

Tui Sada is a Croatian artist living and working in Barcelona, Spain. His work is multidisciplinary and explores ideas of our modern landscape and environment as well as insights of artists expressions towards the beauty in the world. Art accompanied him since childhood. As a student he started working as a life model in drawing and painting classes. After a year of listening how to draw and paint he decided to try it himself. He is mostly inspired by painters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Pollock, William Turner and Caspar David Friedrich. He is a young Croatian artist who started painting with established academic painter Hrvoje Majer. With his instructions Tui Sada is continuously exploring the world of arts, mostly painting abstract paintings following his emotions and interests. He obtained a bachelors degree from University College of international relations and diplomacy Dag Hammarskjöld in Zagreb. He is looking forward to each new challenge, each new exhibition and commission.
