About The Artwork
This piece was inspired by images from the NASA website. I sought to connect the farthest reaches of what we can see of the universe with what I believe we have inside of us. I wanted to communicate an image of potential, hopefulness, and infinity. I have incorporated elements of linear pattern, with loose application of color. I do not see the image as a direct illustration, since this is an image that realistically has no reference, and is purely imaginative. I hope the work inspires the viewer, and uplifts them. I chose the medium, because I feel the acrylic vibrancy translates well for the imagery I seek to portray. Digital photography, and computer graphics have been a source of some color choices, but I do not copy other digital artwork or photography.
