"Gambit" The painting unveils the philosophy of life as a global chess game, where every move reflects interaction with the world and society. In this game, we all face judgment, but the true value lies in the move made by a thoughtful person. It contemplates the meaning of our actions and how we perceive our role in this endless game of life. Canvas on stretcher, oil. 30*30 cm 2020

I was born in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, in 2003. My first encounter with a brush, paints, and canvas happened when I was just three years old. Since then, I've never parted from them. Our family often moved and traveled extensively, allowing me to see different corners of my homeland. In my life, I've had many teachers and mentors, whom I was fortunate to meet and learn from in various fields like sculpture, engraving, stained glass painting, photography, and, of course, the visual arts. In 2018, I graduated from a state art school, and to this day, I continue to refine my skills in painting. In 2019, I became a prize winner in an all-Ukrainian competition for young artists held in Kyiv. Now I live, create, and work in Germany. I am immensely grateful to this country for its hospitality and care. Thank you! In 2023, I held my first solo exhibitions, "Mystique" and "The Power of Imagination," in Cottbus, Germany. Painting, for me, is life, passion, and a universe that I embody in my works. What inspires me and where I find inspiration? It's not always defined... It could be a ray of morning sunlight, the rustling of leaves in the wind, the cry of a night bird, the twinkle of the moon, a melody heard by chance, a dream, a vision... anything, but they all share one thing - they ignite emotions, stir feelings, and give birth to images that I truly see... and then I transfer them onto the canvas. To capture our world - the world of everyday life, my faithful companion is always with me, the camera. With its help, I freeze time, unveil masks, reveal characters, and show an entire world in what has long gone unnoticed. The mundane transforms into a miracle. In my art, I strive to express my thoughts and feelings, and through my works, I aim to offer viewers a sense of beauty and admiration for the world, regardless of what's happening around us. My paintings encompass various styles and are created using diverse materials such as canvas, oil, gouache, watercolor, and watercolor paper. However, my preference has always been and remains painting with oil on canvas, as it is in this technique that I can intricately convey my sensations and emotions. With my works, I want to awaken new feelings in people and show the world from a different perspective. By offering you my works, I sincerely believe and hope that my creative passion and diligence will find a response in your hearts. With respect, Anastasia Intenberg.
