Anya Gorbacheva, was born in 1992 in Mykolaiv, Ukraine. Completing her studies at Bard College (2010), and Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts (2013) with a BA and BFA in painting, Anya continues to work on her oeuvre creating abstractions. The artist has exhibited throughout Europe including in Poland, the Czech Republic, and her native country of Ukraine. Anya currently lives and works in New York City.
