About The Artwork
This piece is based on some of my experiences growing up in Hollywood, CA in the 80s. Gang War is the byproduct of the rock/heavy metal, hip hop and street culture that dominated my world creatively. I use spray paint, pens and markers because they are the tools we used to paint the streets in the 80s - I've now brought the streets to the canvas.
