Gare de Lyon Painting

Linear perspective towards the « Lyon station » which faces « Austerlitz station » by taking Charles de Gaulle’s bridge on foot like people on the left, or perhaps the bus if it is not too late … All the lines pointed on the Clock Tower, on which eyes fall. The clock in its center reminds us of time passing but never stops, except during the storm of 1999. Fortunately, the human hand brought it back to life and in 2005 it took again service for the happiness of all. More than a century separates the constructions of the station from those modern towers planted on either side of the station. I liked this contrast and sharing it with you… If your look further in the background, you will discover the heights of Paris on the left.
