About The Artwork
A piece from my 100 Day Project Nonobjective series. I started with a focus on color theory, letting the colors blend and bleed into one another. Once the ink dried, I contoured the image with bold marker and fine pen and pencil lines. The resulting piece looks like a slug oozing across the page, leaving a slime trail in its wake. This piece embodies movement and life while representing a creature most find repulsive.
