This artwork is really an allegory referring to the general idea of genesis, whether this refers to the birth of a star or the birth of every creature in the world. This allegory also refers to a rebirth of our own selves after a period of uncertainty and doubt regarding a particular state of mind we found ourselves in or this may also refer to a rebirth in our financial situation after a period of poverty. In general it is a renewal and from a state of nonexistence or a state of being run down we pass on to a state of renaissance or of life. This is above all a hymn to life expressed in this artwork.

Greece
I was born in Kalamata, Greece, but moved to Britain in my teens where I was educated and worked as theatre designer in British repertory theatres. I lived in the UK mainly London for many years, but now I live in Athens Greece, dedicated to the Arts, painting and poetry. I consider painting a science delving deep into the unknown bringing to light truths not conceived by the ordinary mind. The painter is a poet, a creator and my paintings comprise music and poetry. Like a music composer composes music, I compose colours and shapes and my paintings are often poetic allegories delivering a message to the spectator. I think painting should have a message to deliver, often a strong one. I draw my inspiration from Cosmos in its wide sense but often social and political matters are my concern which I am trying to convey in my paintings.
