Oh, I still remember this woman whom I met in Geneva on the train to the airport. I was very interested in who this woman is. Where was she from? From what corner of the planet she came, what was she doing in that city? She was wearing bright clothes that Europeans do not wear. This was definitely a...

I am happy that you decided to visit my page!
I hope you will have a good time at my page.
I always loved drawing and could never have imagined that someone would like my works besides my mom and dad. Being a student, I bought acrylic paints and painted a picture of sunflowers. Honestly, I disappointed in acrylic a little because it was drying rather quickly and did not let me get exactly the color I wanted. As a result, I didn't want to paint at all. I can't explain why I chose acrylic then as I could choose any paint. I put off my acquaintance with oil for another couple of years.

Seven years ago, in Moscow, I painted my first oil painting. After that, I experimented with pastels, watercolors, and so on, but the oil paints became my only true love. That was the beginning of my career as an artist. But I was haunted by doubts. I didn't believe in myself. I'd like to say. I'm grateful to the people who believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. When someone believes in you, it helps you to believe in yourself.

I'm painting in oil because I can't live without it. The ideas that inspire me are different. When I notice something unusual and exciting, I want to share it with other people through painting. I try to convey the nuances that have attracted my attention to the viewer. I paint only being in a good mood because emotions are reflected on the canvas. If the artist is full of negative emotions, even the most beautiful painting may alienate the viewers.
I like to use bright, juicy colors in my painting. The impressionists inspire me, and anytime I visit another city, I immediately look for impressionist paintings at the art museum. Their specific technique resounds with me. Having visited the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, I realized that I had not seen the pictures by Van Gogh yet. I lost sleep over that, so the next day I went to look for his works. I can say that I visited the Orsay Museum twice. In two days.

Eight years ago, I had an idea to take up painting more seriously, and today I have already a small collection of paintings that I have exhibited at this site. Each work has its history and plot. (You can read the information in the description of the pictures.) I not only want to tell a viewer the stories of how the work came to be, but I also want to show that there should be no obstacles on the way to the aim. I have been studying painting for five years at the studio.
