About The Artwork

The ‘Get Your Rest’ series is inspired by my own need to let go, my own desire to chase my fears, and recognition of the level of creativity I’ve been blessed with. The artwork features a woman with her hands in the position of surrender with emphasis on her open hands – both ready to receive and ready to give. It is a peaceful submission. It is a surrender to purpose and intention. Visually, it is also meant to represent a return to my inner child for the purpose of healing that child before moving forward. This is expressed through the style and playfulness of the flowers in her shirt. I want peace that surpasses understanding. I want rest. I want that for you too. Get your rest. ***Artwork will ship April 4.***
