Contact us.Born in Naples in 1952, I moved to Milan with my family in the early 60s where I studied until I graduated and then worked.
Former bank manager with a passion for art, over the years I experimented with photography, ceramics, drawing and painting. I have been taking part in collective and personal exhibitions for several years.
Painting, for me, is a process that evolves from magical moments in life. My alphabet is evoked by the journey and by the memories of journeys to places, cities, through the woods, gardens and above all the "omnipresent" sea.
This personal vocabulary speaks through painted leaves and trees, rocks, and ever-cloud-filled skies; places taken from different but always exciting observation points.
Whether it's figurative or something purely abstract, I try to create that energy capable of attracting the viewer's gaze like a magnet.
I love to explore painting techniques. It is for me an endless journey, full of happiness for realization, the enjoyment of inventiveness. The suggestions are multiplied also thanks to photography and computer graphics: what is painted, at times, is only an intermediate step of artistic creation. In fact, the work can still be transformed and reworked, modifying that color or adding that light or shadow that was not there in the first draft; in this way it is possible to express, in a new way, even what has deep roots in the art that is defined as "traditional".
Creation is my vital engine, the source of my energy. Give matter, give birth, do with your hands, imagine, make you dream with your eyes.
