I love gladioli. For all their severity, they are adorable. Such overflows of form and color are musical and harmonious. Gladioli are flowers of aesthetes. The picture is painted in a fast impressionistic manner ala Prima with dense strokes and textured strokes The canvas on the pannel served as the basis.

Vladimir Bogdanov was born in 1955. In 1985 he graduated from the Moscow Print Academy, faculty of graphics. From 1980 to 1991 he worked as a teacher in the Children Studio of Art. Since 1978 he joined more than 35 exhibitions in Russia and abroad. VIadimir Bogdanov's paintings are in private collections and galleries in Russia, USA, France, Italy, Greece, England, Portugal and Czech Republic. Now he lives and works in Prague.
