Inspired initially by a curtain, one of those plastic strip ones that you use to keep insects out in the summer, this painting then developed into something far more cosmic and meaningful. We are all going home, going back to stardust, one way or another, no matter what we believe about what happens after death.

I was born and grew up in London. Apart from living in Berlin for 2 years I have lived in London most of my life. I still live there although I now spend a lot of my time in France where I paint. My intention in my paintings is to be faithful to the creative process, rather than using the power of the intellect or mind. I simply allow the painting to emerge in its own way. Having said that I look for a balance and harmony within the painting, and hope it will be a beautiful expression of profound emotions and truth.
