Golden Hands Painting

Born in 1991 in the suburbs of Paris, My mother introduced me to art during my childhood.This is when discover the work of Gustav Klimt, and quickly became obsessed by the colors and his relation to female sensuality. I started graffiti as a teenager and logically came to paint on canvas, using brushes and other tools, to create pieces based on my photographs. I play with textures, skin colors, background… I’m not looking for a perfect representation of the reality but more for a translation of how I saw or felt this situation and scene that I took on camera.Self taught I’m not afraid to mix all kind of technics and mediums. Thus, each piece is a balance of many layers, acrylic,oil or pastel. Really instinctive, I often stop, leaving empty spaces on the canvas or wash away the paint when I think I’ve been too far. For me everything is about proportions, proportions of bodies, faces or even proportions of colors. In each piece there is a level not to be exceeded or the painting would look too « full » and not right for me. And often regret a previous stage, and think that I’m gone too far.
