"Golden Leaves at Night" Painting

I create experiences that guide people from an overstimulated reality into a state of inner calm, presence, and a felt appreciation for the taste of life. Painting is my way of getting closer to the world — to catch its breath and preserve it on paper. I grew up in Russia and now live in Portugal, where every day reminds me how generous nature is with beauty and detail. Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated by flowers, ornaments, and visual poetry. My love for Vasnetsov’s illustrations and the elegance of Art Deco shaped my visual sensitivity — now expressed through delicate lines, soft color transitions, and botanical motifs. I work with watercolor — not just painting, but engaging in a dialogue with it. This medium requires respect, acceptance, and trust. I love that the result is always slightly unpredictable — just like nature itself. I don’t create preliminary sketches — everything appears directly on paper, in the moment. It’s an honest experience of presence, the energy of here and now. My works become portals to a world where everything is harmonious, filled with light, flowers, and silence. People describe them as sources of peace, joy, childhood memories, and dreams. These are images to keep close — to return to yourself.
