My favorite season is autumn, when things start to fall. I was inspired by the contrast of golden leaves against bright blue sky. The light was shining though the thickness of leaves making various shades of gold, from semi-sheer to shadowy brown. It was painted out of the impression I had of a tree, not from a real model. The painting is signed in the back and varnished. The sides of the canvas is painted in metallic gold. The gallery wrapped canvas is wired, ready for installation.
