Jorge Martínez is an Spanish artist based in London working on acrylic abstract pieces. He seeks to represent using only a palette knife the world he sees through the multi-layered pieces he develops from his London studio. A self-starter who first started painting during lockdown, he has now refined his practice through several courses at the Art Academy London. Fascinated by the emotion induced by colours, he explores the juxtaposition of shapes and shades and their significance to the story. His art is characterised by abrupt and rough structures, seeking pieces that reflect your emotions and grow as they become part of you life story.
