About The Artwork
The reflective effects of the applied color on metallic surfaces offer a greater effulgence and brilliance than those colors applied on opaque surfaces such as canvas, paper, etc. So to counteract this effect and give a greater emphasis to the work, I cover those parts that I want to highlight, such as the tiger in this case, with metallic colors in acrylic, then apply certain dark "transparencies" for their shadows. Then, I detail those objects closer as the interior wood of the broken tree, just like the orchids, but these, with a low relief because of its proximity. They like? Well enjoy it, but ... be careful as it seems real!
