Golduka was inspired by the beauty in the life, death and rebirth cycle. The materials are acrylic, oil and sand from Ocean Beach in San Francisco. I wanted the painting to evoke a feeling of emerging energy and life.

Myke Reilly is a San Francisco artist who creates bold and expressionistic modern abstract works. Reilly’s works are large scale, minimal in composition and rely on a limited color palette to explore depth of form. Reilly’s artistic history can be seen in 3 chapters, as an electronic music pioneer and sound designer with the electro-pop group Voice Farm, as head of the SF design collective The Happy Collective and now as painter-sculptor. In all 3 modalities, Reilly’s ability to merge futuristic minimalism with raw organic forms can be seen and heard. His unique art studio resides in a converted barn at the epicenter of San Francisco's exploding Mission District, recently spotlighted by international media because of the conflicts between technology giants and displaced artists and residents. The barn, built in 1905 houses a number of other multimedia artists and studio visits are welcomed. To contact us please call 415-297-7053 or email us at
