Gotham Painting

The key point for this artwork is that I do not adhere to any styles, quite the contrary - I tried to free myself from the style limitations in the representation. This allows concentrating on the primary leaving all secondary to be emerging on a canvas as if by itself. I am impressed by the big cities in many ways, I am both scared and fascinated by them. Yet the most powerful impression one can get is when you take "one step back" from the city and look at it from a distance. First, it shows itself as a hive attracting people and then like a planet which pulls small objects towards it. People melt into its structure becoming a part of it. Their lives burn inside giving power to the city and their individualities are melt by the pressure deeper in society core with every minute by the following newcomers... This is a four canvases module artwork, two 50x70 cm, and two 70x30 cm. The artwork is the original handmade painting on a canvas done with palette knife and brush. High-quality acrylic paints are used. Edges are painted, does not require framing - the artwork is ready to hang. Varnished to preserve color and protect from UV-light, dust, and moisture. Each canvas is signed on the back and signed certificate of authenticity is provided.
