ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I like to create my own beings. I start with paint and color and build dimension. I draw from my own self, I embody that figure and its feelings are the core of what i was trying for. My mother had just died. I had no outward signs of grief but i was bereft and in sorrow. The world in the background is removed from the calm and cool of the water in which i seek my comfort.
