French and Israeli artist. When I arrived in Israel in 2004, I continued to draw and paint, adopting a more personal style. At first I was drawing my friends, family and other people around me, then gradually different people on the street. Loneliness, bad Hebrew, and everyday communication difficulties helped me paint these colorful and vivid figurative portraits. I gradually created a world of real or imaginary characters with those around me, especially in the Florentine neighborhood in Tel Aviv. All my work has focused on the faces and attitudes of everyday life. I mostly work on raw canvas using acrylics and dry pastels and pure pigments. My passion is people painting and I strive to make portraits and illustrations people i met day to day.
