ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a diptych, so painted across 2 canvasses to make one painting. The composition focus on a large Monstera (Cheese)plant in a light filled kitchen. The plant belongs to a Sweedish Pattern designer called Gunila Axen and I came across the images of her plant filled home in a book by IKEA the was all about the people and patterns of the Sweedish design collective 10 Gruppen.
