ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This is a painting of H Street -- also known as the Atlas District, and is a revitalized arts and entertainment district located in the Near Northeast neighborhood of Washington, DC. I was inspired by the aging buildings -- many dating back to the 30s -- that contain nutty, funky characteristics. The sides of this painting are painted black. This painting is ready to hang.
