“In reality there is neither truth nor error, neither yes or no, or distinctionof any kind, because everything – including the opposites – are One.” Chuang Tzu Non-duality is reality without veils, non-duality is everything that surrounds you, including yourself, non-duality are the eyes with which you watched the world as a child, when your identity was not yet formed and you felt everything as possible, without conditioning. Non-duality has been described for millenniums, through Hinduism, explained by many spiritual teachers and then picked up again in Jungian psychology, up to this day, a historic moment in which it’s certainty has been found, through quantic physics and the most recent scientific discoveries. The concept of a single reality, to feel united with everything but most of all to feel united with any aspects of one’s self, may it be white or black, beautiful or ugly, good or bad. To be able to look at this imagine of us with consciousness (from the outside and without judgement) that includes everything that we are, that we have been and that we can be. When I understood that I wanted to structure and create my own personal painting technique, I started thinking that I wanted to describe non-duality like a philosophical and scientific concept, in order to make it a reason for consciousness and, through the vision of a work of art, a way to ask oneself questions. Through the materials I use, for example oil and watercolours or oil and real flowers, or expanded polyutherane and wood, I tie together two materials in contrast and in this way I search inside the canvas the primordial concept of the Harmonic everything, of the Unique, of the Whole from which we all come from and of which we are all a part, and so of the non-duality of existence. Man feels fragmented when he isn’t in contact with the Absolute, with his real Self” Advaita Vedanta Allowing us to analyze ourselves, to ask ourselves questions about who we are and what we are and allowing us to be consciousness about ourselves through a journey made up of moments of light and darkness, of happiness and sadness, of good and evil, may bring us to understand up close the perfect coexistence of everything, the law of cause and effect that determines each of our actions. This becomes the biggest gift we can give ourselves. Looking at ourselves outside and inside like perfect and illuminated creatures, full of possibilities and opportunities by simply joining Mind and Heart and enjoying the wonderful possibilities of existence.
