Bio: Hi, I'm Laura, an artist with a passion for capturing life’s essence through vibrant, contemporary art. Originally from Lithuania, I now reside in the picturesque Hampshire countryside in the UK. Creativity has always been a core part of my life, with my artistic journey beginning at a young age. Artistic Journey: Although I never pursued formal art education, my love for creating was recognised early on by my art teacher, who saw my enthusiasm and natural skill. Over the years, my style has evolved from detailed studies of animals and the human form, inspired by my interest in biology, to more abstract and contemporary works. Inspiration: Nature is my greatest muse, particularly the scenic walks I take through the countryside. I find inspiration in the landscapes and textures around me, and my work reflects both the tranquillity and raw energy of the natural world. I’m especially drawn to abstract forms that evoke emotion and connection. Colours & Materials: My work features a nature-inspired palette—earthy tones, calming blues, vibrant greens, and warm hues. I use mixed media, primarily acrylics, to create textured, layered compositions with depth and a tactile quality. Artistic Focus: I specialise in abstract and contemporary art, exploring the intersection of nature’s organic forms and human emotion.
