ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Astra beer, is a typycal Hamburg Beer, which is brewed here. The colors of the city are red and white. I like to work on other materials than canvas. I was inspired by pressed blocks of used cans. The Beer cans are fixed on wood. The four parts are screwed together with two by fours at the backside. The image is stenciled with varnish on the beer cans. Ready to hand with two hooks on the backside.
