38 cm x 28 cm (15" x 11") Oil on linen Type: Original Still life artwork Condition: New Technique: Classical Realism Leonardo da Vinci's "Mona Lisa" is a classic example of realism. The painting is original, one of a kind, handmade and unique still life of a pear hung on a blue satin ribbon. The shadow reflection work give the painting a distinctly realistic look; the green of the fruit and brilliant blue of the ribbon adds an everlasting freshness to it. The painting would look best framed in a golden or other brilliant color that would compliment the colors of the artwork. Pears are a classic painting fruit. Painting is signed in oil in the corner and at the back. Painting is made on fine oil primed linen that is pasted to a birch plywood board. It does not come with frame or displayed accessories in the images. You will receive a panel board (furniture-grade) on which I paste the fine linen I have painted on. With it you will receive signed by me Certificate of Authenticity. I paint on fine 'Oil primed Linen' made in Florence Italy (not on canvas) only in Windsor & Newton paints, medium and varnish, making my paintings extremely fine. The materials used in the painting are best in class, make it a collectible, made to last for decades (and perhaps centuries) to come. Each painting is packaged in a protective, acid-free sleeve and shipped in a flat cardboard mailer; shipping with registered airmail with tracking number. Colors may vary due to computer monitor settings or photographic light sources. Pictures as close to life as possible. There may be some glare on oil paintings from studio lights.

I transitioned from a business management background to painting in 2018. I began with learning the fundamentals of drawing and painting from artists working in the Western Classical realm, also known as Realism, in Florence Italy and with other artists in different parts of Europe. Having spent a few years studying traditional forms of drawing, color theory, painting and composition design, which I continue to intensively study and practice, I am now working from my studio in devising my own methods, and using the education I am gaining in traditional foundations to move in a contemporary direction. While my art education has its foundation in Western art, I aspire to combine the nuances of being Indian - our culture, Indian art history, painting styles, materials and motifs into my work and am working on consistently exposing myself to the works of both Indian masters and contemporary Indian artists.
