Galerie Plein Aire features fine art by long time staples of the carmel art community. 40+ years of local experience and 20 years of gallery ownership makes our artists apart of the eclectic bohemian art scene of Carmel-by-the-sea. Husband and wife team Jeff Daniel Smith and Cyndra Bradford are well established artists in California. with art extending 40 years into the past Jeff and Cyndra's art is suitable for anyone interested in art collecting. Hundreds of pieces are in existence all around the world and are unique in their own way being represented in large incredibly identifiable sizes and painting techniques. Our artists are local born and raised in Big Sur, Pacific Grove, and Carmel CA. We are a family owned gallery, while only representing a few members in Galerie Plein Aire, our family spans Carmel's art scene in multiple Carmel art galleries including "Delia" owned by Delia Bradford, Nelson Contemporary and our artists are long time members, former board members and featured exhibitionists at the Carmel Art Association. Other examples of the family include photos by Brock Bradford, paintings by Tal Bradford and historic abstract art by the late Howard Bradford that are sprinkled amongst art galleries all around Carmel's art district. We pride ourselves in avoiding the corporate art buying process that makes the experience so daunting and impersonal.
