ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece is painted on 300-pound cold-pressed Fabriano Artistico paper, mounted onto a black wood panel and wired for hanging, and was inspired by the long-eared hares around my home that stare so intently when they peruse their environment. Currently on display at San Luis Obispo Museum of Art, Art After Dark, may be available again after 6/2/18.

Most of my adult life has been spent working with animals, including at the San Diego Natural History Museum, the San Diego Zoo, and the Taronga Park Zoo in Sydney, Australia.
