ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This portrait series started out as colour studies where I used friends as models with each colour choice inspired by the mood of the individual. Soon the focus of the 'harmony' in this series started moving away from colour to the emotional harmony I felt emanating from the women themselves. They seemed comfortable in their own skins. In some of these I started incorporating botanicals to symbolise this harmony with themselves and with Nature. This painting is framed in a raw Tasmanian Oak frame and ready to hang.
