ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was transfixed on the need for calmness and tranquility for a large art exhibition that I had. 'Havana Rain' would end up becoming a great minimalistic, contemporary piece that is very tranquil and modern that was in the show. It has many layers of acrylic paint, dried paint chips adhered to the canvas. It also has gesso, gloss varnish and colors from the under painting coming through this minimal, soft piece. Highly textured. It is wired and ready to be hung in your space.

I am an abstract expressionist artist. I paint from raw emotion and release every ounce of my spirit into my creative endeavors. I studied Theater Arts and Design in New York. Painting is a medium that came to me later in my life. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to express myself through abstraction. It's a delicious treat... sometimes decadent. I love the challenges that are presented as I contemplate new ideas, implement my thoughts, and watch them become a reality. in addition, I love listening to guests who visit my studio and purchase my art. Thanks to my clients and collectors - both national and international I was able to fundraise for the Charlotte Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County (Florida). It was wonderful to be able to dance and paint for such a great cause and to celebrate the arts community through scholarships for students.
