ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This large painting was inspired by my frequent travels to Rome, antiquity and Italian food. I just recently had the opportunity to taste my first artichoke and was instantly hooked. This painting will look absolutely stunning in a minimalistic or contemporary setting and is a perfect decorative element for someone who loves the classical world. It radiates elegance and rigor. It was painted in the month of April 2019 and was done in acrylic paints which I prepare from mineral pigments in the studio. I personally stretched and and primed the 100% cotton canvas with Bologna gesso and tempera. This painting will be rolled and shipped in a sturdy tube via international courier which includes a tracking number. Please contact me with your questions, thank you.
