Once I saw a red-haired girl on the summer terrace of a small restaurant. Her beautiful braid was tied around her head. She was so pretty that she fascinated me. I caught myself thinking that this is a real descendant of the beautiful Aphrodite. I decided to paint her portrait.

My name is Elena Tsvetkova, I sign my works with the pseudonym E.Schmitt. Born and raised in Russia, 2012-2020 lived in Luxembourg, currently living in Germany. I am a self-taught artist. Once having picked up brushes and paints i cannot stop. This is my passion and life.I prefer not to limit myself to anything and therefore I write in different styles. Realism, impressionism and I really love interior painting and mixmedia as well. My goal is to please your eyes, to make your leisure more comfortable and pleasant.. The artist's artistic approach is formed from the environment in which he immerses himself, from the one whom he imitates and into whose images he gets used. In creating my paintings, this is exactly what I use, getting used to the image, object, idea, through which a certain plot is formed. My goal: from a craftsman artist to become a creator artist, to create a visual composition that expresses an intimate, deep relationship to the world. Creativity is not conceivable without knowledge, search for meaning and spiritual development.
