"Nanak, under the same skin." When he began to paint, he realized that inspiration came with erratic emotions, sometimes strength, sometimes love, sometimes... peace. Nanak is the name he chose to imprint his signature on his artworks. This choice is enriched with the seasoning of the secondary signature Sosan, the name of one of the Zen patriarchs he took to express his earthly roots and personal philosophy. His first encounter with the name Nanak happened while exploring Asian philosophies through recorded and popularized texts. Nanak refers to the leader and guru of a religion called Sikhism, which has a small number of followers. This name deeply captivated him, and hoping to make it famous, he decided to adopt it as a pseudonym to sign his artworks. As time passed, a form of energy allowed him to listen to it, but it was strange because words were never really heard. "NANAK" that was his name, who let him know that he was his guide, his spiritual companion, Sosan another more earthly artist, and Bokuju an exotic dancer who according to the author are 3 Artists who precipitate the canvases with paint to give meaning to the "amorphous". His mission is to awaken the essence of joy and divine spark that we all carry within as rational and human beings. By using the term "human," he wishes to show his wild and animalistic side, while the term "rational" represents his cosmic sense and life mission, which is to contribute to communion in the present moment and touch with presence, defining space with sublime interpretations that show the pulse of life in this galaxy. Light and darkness, in perfect balance through center and chaos, define a space that transcends the limits of any artwork. That is Nanak, a concept that, fitting naturally into its environment, allows connecting with the essence of people. The idea is that energy in communion is captured in this stream of mystical expressionism, Mayan origins, sacred and pre-Hispanic codes that Nanak shows in his artistic product and can reaffirm what he represents; who he is. It is an all-in-abundance without a beginning or an end; that is the origin, Nanak. How does Nanak's signature arise? The story begins in 2010 when one of his teachers urged him to design a signature that would leave a legacy for posterity.
