ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Artistic details: High Dive - free fall. I intended to show the excitement of these few seconds one falls free. Those few seconds one is flying. The few seconds one stays in the limbo between life and death, heaven and earth where one feels weightless and free. The swimsuit design is a reference to the 1960ies fashion art design. In my artwork, I embody the joyful boldness and spirit of daring through the depiction of a woman in free fall. I mix the acrylic paint with gilding technique to create a vibrant, luminous texture. The image exudes energy and movement, perfectly depicted in the vintage-inspired red polka-dot swimwear that evokes a pop-like, playful nostalgia. This piece captures the feeling of letting go and freedom, ideal for adding a sense of joie de vivre and dynamic elegance to any space. Technical Details: The canvas is stretched on strecher bars less than 1 inch deep. The silver parts are attached in classic gold plating technique with composition aluminum leaves. The painting is carried out with acrylic colors. The edges are coated with metal leaves as well. The painting can be installed immediately. No additional framing will be needed.
