About The Artwork

The work "History of the crayon" was completed in 2019 in mixed media, acrylic and oil painting using colored chalk. This is the first work from the series “Silent Life of Things”, which represents a peculiar series of “portraits” of things around us in everyday life, things that hold the prints of our hands, things that are witnesses of every day of our lives, our joys and hopes, sadness or fatigue, things with our own character and his "face".

1975,Khmelnitsky,Ukraine. Im an artist, painter, the daughter of the artist and the wife of the artist. Oil paint, acrylic, hard brush and spatula (palette knife) are my favorite materials and tools to work with. They give me the opportunity to experiment with strokes of paint, the density, expressiveness, or vice versa, with transparency and fluidity.I like the lightest carelessness in my works. I like it when my works are a bit sketchy. I consider the paintings created with ease, as they say "in one breath", the best of my collection.
