Flavia Birsan is a Romanian contemporary abstract artist, currently living and creating Warsaw, Poland, who has exhibited her art nationally and internationally and her paintings can be found in private collections around the world. Attracted to the gestural painting style, the artist continuously experiments with various supports and techniques, which explore minimalism and vivid colors. Flavia seeks to capture the essence of the emotional impressions she takes from her everyday life and to translate it on her paintings. She creates impasto effects with palette knives and large brushes employing acrylics and charcoal.
