This work is created on gallery wrapped canvas over panel measuring 36" x 36". The canvas is prepared with a fresco secco then rendered with oils, acrylics and casein. This work tried to evoke a sense of light and the ethereal. Like a ticker tape parade or garlands hung over street festivals...this painting tries to evoke a sense of joy. Symbols are collected from different cultures as a celebration of multiculturalism. The surface is worked to reveal the archeology and the nature of the fresco surface creates a great visual interest.
