ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The cat depicted in the picture has a very unusual story. My parents had a family friend who had a cat. She gave birth to kittens in early spring. A little later, he fell ill with coronavirus and, leaving for the hospital,gave the kitten to his parents so that the memory of his beloved cat would remain if he did not return. Unfortunately, at the same time he was gone. The kitten has already become a beautiful cat. She lives in a beautiful village, is friends with a dog and enjoys life. In the picture, she has a thoughtful, slightly dreamy look. But there is a story behind it, one of those threads of fate that our life follows. The work is done in oil - this material perfectly conveys the vividness of the picture. The cat is depicted in a realistic style to better capture it in life.

My name is Maria Miller, and I have been an artist for more than 15 years, working in my studio in the city of Izhevsk. I received an art education at the School of Fine Arts (1991-1997). I am constantly continuing to improve my skills and knowledge. That is why I have taken many courses and master classes, including foreign ones. I also have a degree in design. I prefer abstraction and consider it an art form that is subject to strong feelings. Therefore, my paintings fit perfectly into the interior and have a rich color scheme. When writing a paper, I pay attention to every detail. I am a productive artist and every month I create a lot of works of art, a significant part of which I sell abroad. In addition to Russia, my works have found their home in private collections in the UK, USA, Italy, Austria, Germany, France.
