"Homemask" series stay at Home Painting

This work emphasizes the expression of the relationship between humans and natural phenomena as the background of the symbolic depiction. In the Covid 19 pandemic, homes and nature have become quarantine rooms, always protecting them when all living things are threatened. The symbol of a house with a melting effect resembling skin, water sap, moss, and soil into the background, symbolizing old and large trees and mountains that have been a refuge for centuries for our ancestors. These objects and symbols are inspired by miniature houses that are used as burial places for the Toraja people, with the tradition of burying them in mountains and trees.
