Title: Honestly
Size: 12x12 inches
Sides: not painted; with paint from the painting process
Frame: unframed
Signature: front and back
Medium: acrylic on canvas
Varnish: silky-glossy finish

Layers of paint are repetitively applied, shifting around the canvas, negotiating for space as they accumulate.

Powerful, colorful, challenging. Inspiration comes from a variety of sources - both art historical and the contemporary context.

Beginning with the first marks, the work progresses via call and response vacillating between intuitive and formal concerns as each is considered.

The finished piece radiates the energy of the creative process.

This small, bold statement painting will have a significant presence in any room.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.
