The time of the pandemic is often associated with great paralysis, but we should remember: we should remember our abilities, to be able to bypass our abilities even with little contact and little consumption. To be thrown back on ourselves, to develop creativity. This picture was taken in times of the pandemic and it shows me how good it is to get back to the roots. This painting is an acrylic painting it lives from the line in different layers, shapes and colors, in combination with surfaces make the lines disappear, but still give an idea that they were once there.

When I paint, I can leave everything where it belongs: joy, sadness, love, doubt and fear. (Ines Klich) Ines Klich is a passionate painter who, in her work, transfers and processes some of her emotional experiences onto the canvas. For her, the creative process is of great importance and emotional intensity. She loves to discover new depths in lines and structures and creates large, lively works full of energy and emotion. Her wish is that her pictures touch the viewer and evoke his/her own emotions. Ines Klich began her artistic path, inspired by abstract expressionism and great role models such as Cy Twombley, Martha Jungwirth and Joan Mitchell. Initially, she devoted herself entirely to this style in order to explore the emotional depths and energetic expressions of this intuitive style of painting in her own works. Later, she decided to further deepen her skills and artistic understanding and began studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kolbermoor. There she expanded her repertoire and also devoted herself intensively to portrait painting. This academic training enabled her to refine her techniques and further develop her understanding of form and structure, which gave her work additional dimensions. Ines Klich has been a freelance artist since 2014 and runs a studio and an artist gallery in Emsdetten.
