About The Artwork

An enchanting mystical landscape of a lonely house in a freshwater lagoon and estuary on the coast of Valencia Bay in a community in eastern Spain. This is the main part of the natural park, on the territory of which there are a great many settlements of farmers whose main occupations were rice cultivation and fishing. You always experience an unusual state when you are near the old house. Brightly lit dilapidated walls against a fantastic sky. The painting depicts a lonely house, traditional for Spain. The place where I drew inspiration is the natural biosphere reserve in Albufera, a small fishing town near Valencia. The area on which this lonely house is located is used to grow the world-famous rice for Valencian paella, a traditional dish of the Spaniards. Near the house grows a lone pine tree with a once paired trunk. In fact, there is so much symbolism in this story: a destroyed house, a lonely pine tree, an infinitely blue sky, plowed land... In what sense - it's up to you?! The landscape is painted in the technique of oil painting with a palette knife. The picture is framed in a white Guggenheim studio frame and will perfectly fit into the interior of any style. good luck with your choice.
